향긋하고 부드러운 바나나 커스터드 크림이 들어있는 도쿄 바나나를 만들었어요!
바나나 향이 가득하고 달콤해서 정말 맛있어요~
일본에서 사먹었던 도쿄 바나나 보다 더 맛있는 것 같아요~ 꼭 만들어서 드셔보세요^^

I made a Tokyo banana with fragrant soft banana custard cream!
The banana flavor is sweet and it is really delicious~
I think it is more delicious than Tokyo bananas I bought in Japan~

▶틀사이즈 : 22.5cm x 22.5cm

▶재료
-바나나 커스터드 크림
바나나 1개
설탕 20g
달걀 노른자 1개
옥수수전분 6g
바닐라익스트랙 1g
우유 100g

-스펀지 시트
달걀흰자 1개
설탕 25g
달걀노른자 1개
바닐라익스트랙 1/8ts
바나나 과즙색소 1/4ts
박력분 27g
녹인버터 7g
우유 10ml

▶레시피
1. (바나나 커스터드 크림) 볼에 바나나를 넣고 으깬 뒤 설탕, 옥수수전분, 바닐라익스트랙, 달걀 노른자, 우유를 넣고 섞는다.
2. 체에 걸러 냄비에 넣고 약불에서 걸쭉해질 때까지 끓인다.
3. 다른 볼에 옮겨 넣고 랩을 덮어 냉장고에서 식힌다.
4. (스펀지 시트) 볼에 달걀흰자를 넣고 휘핑하다가 큰 거품이 올라오면 설탕을 넣고 단단한 거품이 될 때까지 휘핑한다.
5. 달걀 노른자, 바닐라익스트랙, 바나나 과즙색소를 넣고 휘핑한다.
6. 박력분을 체쳐 넣고 가볍게 섞는다.
7. 녹인버터+우유를 주걱 위로 흘려 넣고 빠르게 골고루 섞는다.
8. 오븐팬에 붓고 윗면을 평평히 한 뒤, 바닥에 2~3번 내려치고 170도 예열된 오븐에서 12분간 굽는다.
9. 케이크 시트를 4등분 하고 종이호일로 말아 식힌다.
10. 랩 위에 시트를 올리고 바나나 크림을 넣고 돌돌만다.
11. 양끝을 고정시키고 냉동실에서 1시간 동안 굳힌다.

▶Ingredients
- Banana Custard Cream
1 Banana
20g Sugar
1 Egg yolk
6g Corn starch
1g Vanilla extract
100g Milk

- Sponge Sheet
1 Egg white
25g Sugar
1 Egg yolk
1/8ts Vanilla extract
1/4ts Banana extract
27g cake flour
7g Melted butter
10ml Milk

▶Recipe
1. (Banana custard cream) Put the banana in the bowl and mashed, then mix with sugar, corn starch, vanilla extract, egg yolk and milk.
2. Strain the mixture through a sieve. Put in a pot and boil until thick.
3. Transfer to another bowl, cover the plastic wrap and cool in the refrigerator.
4. (Sponge Sheet) Whip the egg whites and big bubbles come up, add sugar and whip until solid bubble.
5. Add egg yolk, vanilla extract, banana extract and whip.
6. Add sifted cake flour Lightly mix.
7. Pour melted butter + milk onto a spatula and mix quickly and evenly.
8. Pour into an oven pan, flatten the top, and bake in a 170 degree preheated oven for 12 minutes.
9. Cut the sponge cake into 4 squares.
10. Place the cake on plastic wrap, pipe out the Banana Custard Cream, roll, and securely twist the ends like a candy.
11. 1 hour in the freezer.

How to Make Tokyo Banana (Recipe) | OCHIKERON | Create Eat Happy :)

Tokyo Banana (東京ばな奈) is a very popular banana flavored sweet, often considered to be the #1 souvenir from Tokyo.

I never thought of making this at home, but I tried it for my viewers :)

Pureed banana custard cream was smooth and delicious.

Please try it out!

Tokyo Banana

Difficulty: medium
Time: 60min
Number of servings: 8 (cream is for 16 or more)

Necessary Equipment:
9-inch square brownie pan
electric mixer

Ingredients:
((Banana Custard Cream))
Net 100g (3.5oz.) banana
A
* 1 egg
* 1 tbsp. corn starch
* 3 tbsp. granulated sugar
* 150ml milk
a few drops of vanilla extract
((Sponge Cake))

Directions:
((Banana Custard Cream))
1. In a bowl, mash banana with a fork.
2. Add A and mix well.
3. Strain the mixture through a sieve into a saucepan.
4. Put on low, stir constantly, and stop the heat when the cream starts to thicken. Mix well with the remaining heat. If you like, add a few drops of vanilla extract. Leave to cool completely.
5. Transfer the cream into a pastry bag OR into a dish covered tightly with plastic wrap (make sure the cream sticks to the plastic wrap to keep from drying out). Chill in the fridge.
((Sponge Cake))

1. Cut the sponge cake into 4 squares. Then cut them into thin (0.2 inch) slices.
2. Place the cake on plastic wrap (with the brown side up), pipe out the Banana Custard Cream, roll, and securely twist the ends like a candy.

*It tastes good if you chill them in the fridge before you eat.
*You can also use a store-bought sponge cake.

I used corn starch instead of flour for the sponge cake, because a friend of mine is celiac, and it worked out!

Btw, do we chose a ripe or super ripe banana for this? Does it matter if the banana is not that sweet?
